Citi is seeking a Java & Microservices Development Lead - Vice President to architect and guide mission-critical backend systems for real-time payments on a global scale. You will champion cloud-native Java microservices, implement AI-assisted development practices, and ensure security, reliability, and 99.999% availability across platforms.

You will collaborate with product managers, enterprise architects, and cross-functional squads to translate complex requirements into production-ready

Competenze

• 10+ years of hands-on Java software engineering and architecture.
• Proven experience designing and operating production-grade microservices.
• Strong expertise with Kafka, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and AI-assisted tools.

Mansioni

• Architect and lead end-to-end development of high-throughput Java microservices for real-time processing.
• Build event-driven streaming architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Champion AI-PDLC practices and integrate AI tools into delivery workflows.
• Develop cloud-native services with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, including observability and security.
