Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Java software engineering experience with Java 17/21.
• Experience designing, developing, and operating production-grade microservices with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.
• Expertise in Kafka or RabbitMQ and streaming architectures.
• Knowledge of API Gateway, SAGA, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and related patterns.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted developer tools and AI-PDLC practices.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift in high-availability environments.
• Strong Git-based workflows and automated CI/CD.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build high-throughput, low-latency Java microservices for 24x7 real-time processing.
• Develop event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Lead AI-PDLC adoption across squads and leverage AI tools.
• Design cloud-native services with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, config, service discovery, and mTLS.
• Implement ISO 20022 and real-time payment protocols where applicable.
• Optimize data access and JVM performance.
• Work with SRE to establish observability and conduct performance testing.
• Mentor teams through design reviews and code reviews.
• Guide deployment on Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift within CI/CD.
