Job summary

Leidos in Baltimore is seeking a senior software engineer to design and develop enterprise Java applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and JEE technologies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design cloud-native applications on AWS/OpenShift, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, and Maven while ensuring performance and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; advanced degree beneficial.
• 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React.
• Extensive design and programming in Java and JEE.
• Hands-on with Angular, React, Express/Node.js.
• Experience as a hands-on Technical Lead.
• Agile project experience and familiarity with Agile tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise Java applications and microservices.
• Build scalable web components and RESTful services.
• Ensure 508 compliance for web applications.
• Lead cross-functional discussions with analysts, QA, and PMs.
• Develop and maintain DAO layers for DB2 and PostgreSQL.
