Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks an engineering leader to drive one or more Scrum teams within the Charles River product family, delivering robust software for financial services.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Product Owners, and guide agile practices while ensuring high quality, scalable solutions across teams. This role emphasizes staff development and cross-team coordination, with hands-on work in Java, C#, SQL, and JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field (MS preferred) and 10–12 years in software engineering.
• Minimum 3 years supervising teams; 5+ years in financial services is highly desirable.
• Strong OO programming, databases, scripting, and Agile experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or more engineering Scrum teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to design software and manage backlogs.
• Fulfill the Scrum Master role and foster continuous improvement.
• Review testing strategies and mentor staff on technical and domain skills.
• Coordinate with R&D teams for integrated workflows.
