Job summary

NinjaOne in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Java, to design and implement scalable IT Operations features. You will work on high‑availability cloud services and contribute across the stack, from backend services to data flows, collaborating with a cross‑functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of Java software development experience for product applications.
• 5+ years building highly scalable systems.
• Proven experience scaling systems and solving complex design challenges.
• Strong OOP design principles and RESTful API design with Spring.
• Relational DB design and development; caching and data warehousing exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of large‑scale software applications with a quality‑first approach.
• Influence architectural decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Own technical initiatives and drive improvements with data from support teams.
• Advocate for quality assurance and high‑performance software.
• Take on additional duties to support team success.
