NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Java to design and implement scalable IT operations software, enhancing features and supporting existing functionality for millions of endpoints. You’ll work within a team of engineers delivering mission-critical cloud services in AWS, with a focus on Java, Spring, C++, Golang, and PostgreSQL.

The role offers flexible remote work within the USA, with hybrid options at offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of Java software development experience.
• 5+ years with highly scalable systems.
• Experience with API design and RESTful services (Spring).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of large-scale software applications with a focus on quality.
• Influence architectural decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Own technical initiatives and drive improvements using data from support teams.
