Job summary
NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Java to design and build scalable IT Operations software, and contribute to platform improvements across a large-scale cloud service. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
- 10 years of Java software development experience.
- 5 years of experience with highly scalable systems.
- Proven experience in scaling systems and complex design challenges.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming design principles.
- Expertise in API design and RESTful services using Jersey or Spring.
- Proficient in relational database design and development.
- Experience with caching systems, particularly Redis.
- Knowledge of quality testing practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of large-scale software applications with a quality-first approach.
- Influence architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and set technical standards across projects.
- Own technical initiatives and drive data-driven improvements.
