Job summary

EITACIES is looking for a Senior Java Developer to support the ongoing development of a web-based application in a remote work setup. You will collaborate with stakeholders to address backlog items and implement enhancements using Azure DevOps and Agile Scrum.

The role requires 10+ years in Java/J2EE with IBM DB2 UDB and Eclipse, plus prior state government project experience. All work is performed in the United States, during normal business hours.

Qualifications

10+ years of J2EE experience.
10+ years of IBM DB2 UDB experience.
10+ years of Java development.
10+ years of Eclipse IDE usage.
Experience with state government projects within the last five years.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver application updates with code changes and documentation.
Document enhancements and ensure complete system documentation.
Complete defect and change requests for code modifications.
Participate in daily Scrum meetings and Agile practices.
Engage with system and business experts to understand requirements.
Ensure alignment with requirements management, design, and development standards.
Use Azure DevOps and Agile Scrum for development work.
Provide transparent reporting on work performed and deliverables.
