EITACIES Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Java/J2EE Developer to support the eXPRS application, a web-based Medicaid services system. The role involves bug remediation, backlog management, and feature enhancements in a remote setting.

The successful candidate will work in an Agile Scrum environment, using Azure DevOps to manage tasks, participate in daily stand-ups, and coordinate with ODHS stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality software updates.

Qualifications

10+ years of J2EE experience
10+ years of IBM DB2 UDB experience
10+ years of Java experience
10+ years of Eclipse experience
State government experience within the last five years
eXPRS application development experience (1–3 years)

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver updates to the eXPRS application, including code changes and documentation.
Document enhancements to ensure complete system documentation for the eXPRS application.
Complete defect and change requests for code modifications impacting the eXPRS system.
Engage with system and business experts and participate in daily Scrum meetings.
Collaborate with ODHS business product owner to understand requirements and timelines.
Document solution options, dependencies, and gaps in system capabilities.
Coordinate with the ODHS project technical architect to align on technical standards and design.
Review estimates with the technical lead to confirm timelines and effort.
Follow ADOS and Agile Scrum processes; participate in sprint planning and reviews.
Demonstrate requirements through incremental prototypes and collect stakeholder feedback.
