Job summary

EITACIES Inc. invites a Senior Java/J2EE Developer to join the eXPRS team. This remote role focuses on supporting the eXPRS application, a Medicaid services web system, with ongoing development, enhancements, and bug remediation.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams, attend daily Scrum, and coordinate with ODHS product owners to meet timelines. Strong Java, J2EE, IBM DB2, and Eclipse experience is required.

Qualifications

10+ years of J2EE experience.
10+ years of Java experience.
10+ years of IBM DB2 UDB experience.
10+ years of Eclipse experience.
Prior state government experience within the last five years.
eXPRS Application Development - 1-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver updates to eXPRS application, including software code changes and documentation.
Document completed enhancements to ensure complete system documentation for the eXPRS application.
Complete defect and change requests for code modifications associated with the Services that impact the eXPRS application.
Engage in daily Scrum meetings and discussions with system and business experts.
Engage with the ODHS product owner to understand functional requirements and timelines.
Document solution options, dependencies, and gaps in system capabilities.
Coordinate with technical leads to review effort and timelines.
Follow ADOS and Agile Scrum development standards.
