Job summary

EITACIES Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Developer for remote work within the United States. The role focuses on supporting application Operations and Maintenance by handling bugs, backlog items, enhancements, performance and UI improvements, and knowledge transfer to the team.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in Java/J2EE with IBM DB2 UDB and Eclipse, plus prior state government experience. Strong collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to ADOS processes are required.

Qualifications

10+ years of J2EE experience.
10+ years of IBM DB2 UDB experience.
10+ years of Java experience.
10+ years of Eclipse experience.
Experience with state government projects within the last five years.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver application updates, including code changes and documentation.
Document completed enhancements to ensure system documentation.
Complete defect and change requests for code modifications.
Engage with system and business experts; participate in daily Scrum meetings.
Understand mandatory functional business requirements and timelines.
Document solution options, impacted areas, dependencies and gaps.
Understand technical standards and document technical design.
Review estimates and timelines with technical leadership.
Provide transparency into work performed and deliverables.
Follow existing requirements management, design, development, issue tracking processes, and development standards.
Use Azure DevOps and an Agile Scrum approach for development work.
Participate in daily and weekly sprint planning and review meetings.
Demonstrate understanding of requirements via incremental prototypes and stakeholder feedback.
