Job summary

NinjaOne, a leading IT operations platform, seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to design and implement scalable solutions, contribute to new features, and strengthen existing functionality serving millions of endpoints.

You will join a team spanning C++ agent, UI, and backend engineers, work on signaling and session infrastructure, and help ensure high availability across multi-region cloud services in AWS. Hybrid remote options available for US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Java software development, particularly for product applications.
• 5+ years of experience with highly scalable systems.
• Proven experience in scaling systems and solving complex design challenges.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of large-scale software applications with high quality.
• Influence critical architectural decisions for scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Own technical initiatives and drive improvements based on data.
• Advocate for quality assurance and high-performance software.
