Job summary

The Clearing House Payments Company seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the RTP Product Engineering team. You will design, develop, and enhance our real-time interbank payment platform, building new applications and features while improving reliability and performance.

You will work with RTP Product teams and leadership to ensure quality deliverables and align with cloud-native, distributed architectures.

Qualifications

8+ years of Java software development experience, including Spring/Spring Boot.
Experience building cloud-native microservices and distributed systems.
Hands-on with AWS or major cloud provider and serverless architectures.
Experience with event-driven architectures and data streaming.
Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software for real-time interbank payment processing.
Serve as a senior technical contributor across the full software lifecycle.
Develop components in Java with Spring Boot; build APIs and services.
Implement cloud-native services using AWS and event-driven patterns.
Create automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure with IaC (Terraform).
Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and reviews.
