Job summary

KellyMitchell Group seeks a Senior Software Engineer to drive end-to-end software development using Java and cloud-native patterns. You will build and maintain APIs and services, while integrating complex systems across databases, messaging, and orchestration platforms.

You will work closely with product and engineering teams, manage AWS infrastructure, and mentor junior engineers. This role supports a hybrid work model with collaboration across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field.
• 5+ years of proven experience developing Java applications.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects concurrently.
• Comfortable working in agile environments and with distributed teams.
• Proficient in Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, Cloud hosting, CI/CD, databases (DynamoDB, AuroraDB, MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Design and build software end-to-end with Java and cloud-native patterns.
• Integrate complex systems across databases, messaging, and orchestration platforms.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to meet business needs.
• Manage and support AWS infrastructure for production and lower environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide code reviews and guidance.
