Job summary

Hyphen Solutions, LLC is seeking a senior engineer to lead design, development, and modernization of scalable enterprise applications and cloud-native platforms. You will provide technical leadership across architecture, software development, and system integration while contributing hands-on code.

You will drive engineering standards, microservices adoption, cloud strategy, DevOps practices, and AI-enabled development initiatives to deliver secure, high-performance, and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Design and lead enterprise Java architectures and contribute code.
• Drive scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
• Establish architecture and coding standards; document decisions and system interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise Java 21+ architectures and contribute directly to coding
• Lead the development of scalable, high-performance cloud-native applications
• Create prototypes to validate architecture decisions
• Contribute production code for complex features
• Define and enforce architecture and coding standards
• Document architectural decisions and system interactions
• Lead code and design reviews
• Build microservices and distributed systems
• Design APIs and integration patterns
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams
• Troubleshoot complex production issues
