Citi is seeking a Lead Java Developer to join its Credit Risk Technology team in Irving, TX. You will lead a team of engineers, architect and implement high-performance counterparty risk systems, leveraging AI tools and modern stacks to deliver scalable solutions.

The role combines hands-on development with leadership, focusing on cloud-native architectures, microservices, and data integration across multiple data sources to provide an integrated view of trades, collateral, and market data.

Competenze

• 6+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years in a leadership role (Lead Developer/Tech Lead)
• Strong hands-on programming in Java
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices
• Experience with AI/ML tools and GenAI in building large-scale apps
• Understanding of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data integration/streaming
• CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing proficiency
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate a technical team
