Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Taylor, Texas, is seeking a Water & Wastewater Process Engineer to own and improve UPW and industrial wastewater systems on site. You will lead technology upgrades, coordinate cross-functional maintenance, and ensure safe, continuous, high-quality utilities for our fab.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 6+ years in an engineering environment, and strong knowledge of ultrapure water and wastewater treatment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline applicable to water and wastewater systems.
• 6+ years in an Engineering environment, preferably Design or Operations.
• Working knowledge of general water treatment technologies and/or processes.

Responsibilities

• Own wastewater transfer and treatment equipment and UPW systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional maintenance with Operations, Instrumentation, and Maintenance teams.
• Develop, test and implement major technology upgrades for UPW and IWT.
• Monitor performance via trend analysis and field walks; drive operational improvements.
• Maintain safe work environment and clear communication with supervisor and TL on issues.
