Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Director of Water and Wastewater Treatment and Reclaim to lead UPW and IWT operations at the Taylor site. You will shape long‑term utility strategies, oversee capital projects, set KPIs, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and cost‑effective performance.

Lead a large, multi-disciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and contractors, align investments with future manufacturing needs, and partner with regulators and external providers to sustain

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in engineering, construction, operations, or maintenance of large-scale industrial utility systems.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, and maintenance.
• Experience directing large-scale capital projects and infrastructure development.
• Strong knowledge of Ultrapure Water (UPW) and Industrial Wastewater Treatment (IWT) systems in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proven ability to engage senior executives and government/regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of UPW and IWT systems at the Taylor site.
• Manage a multidisciplinary organization with several direct reports and a sizable in-house/contract workforce.
• Own long-term utility strategies, master planning, capital investments, and capacity expansion.
• Direct engineering and capital projects from design to commissioning and operational readiness.
• Ensure all utility systems meet specifications, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
