Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer to oversee safety and reliability of IWT systems, driving improvements and troubleshooting complex plant issues.

The role involves monitoring performance, preparing reports, and coordinating with O&M teams to deliver commissioning, startup, and ongoing optimization across WTR processes in a high‑stakes manufacturing environment in Texas.

Qualifications

• BS in an engineering field required.
• Knowledge of wastewater processes such as BNR, ultrafiltration, dewatering, clarification, ion exchange, RO.
• Safety, environmental and quality mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, drive and execute process improvements with O&M and customers.
• Own transfer and/or treatment system scope and projects including commissioning.
• Review startup plans and demonstrate expertise in mechanical, electrical, and controls.
• Monitor trends, inspect equipment and coordinate with O&M teams on work orders and projects.
• Troubleshoot IWT system issues during operations and commissioning.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
