Job summary

Maximus is seeking an IV&V Project Manager to lead independent oversight and assessment activities for complex technology implementation programs. The role combines project management with independent verification and validation responsibilities to evaluate governance, controls, risk, schedule, and delivery effectiveness.

The successful candidate will provide objective assessments, actionable recommendations, and executive-level reporting to clients and stakeholders, serving as engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience performing IV&V, QA/QC, PMO governance, or independent assessment activities.
• Experience evaluating governance, management practices, risks, issues, schedules, readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead IV&V engagements for technology implementation and modernization programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute assessment activities (document reviews, interviews, workshops).
• Assess governance, management, risks, schedule performance, and readiness.
• Develop findings, recommendations, and executive briefings.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to business development when opportunities arise.
