AECOM is seeking a Senior Traffic / Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Engineer to join our Transportation team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university, Transportation Engineering, or related discipline and 8+ years of relevant traffic/ITS engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform traffic engineering, ITS, and signal design assignments for public-sector clients.
• Provide project management support including scope, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and QA/QC.
• Coordinate with MDOT, counties and municipalities to deliver transportation solutions across Michigan.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development and client relationships.
