Job summary

Pacific Office Automation seeks a Technical Account Manager for its Managed IT Services, based on-site in Beaverton, OR. You will manage a portfolio of clients, act as a trusted advisor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IT strategy and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in TAM/vCIO roles, strong executive presentation skills, and expertise in cloud, networking, and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Account Management, vCIO, IT Director, or Senior IT Consultant
• Experience budgeting, strategic planning, and technology roadmap development
• Experience presenting to C-level executives and conducting Technical Business Reviews (TBRs)
• Strong ROI analysis and cost-benefit justification for IT investments
• Translate complex technical concepts into business language
• Deep knowledge of cloud and infrastructure technologies, including modern network, security, and collaboration platforms
• Strong aptitude for customer service and client retention
• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical communication skills
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to remain composed under pressure while managing client escalations
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teamwork

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of clients within Managed IT Services
• Act as trusted advisor aligning technology with business goals
• Drive IT strategy and client satisfaction through proactive communication and planning
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Helpdesk, Onboarding, and Project Delivery
• Present to executives and conduct Technical Business Reviews (TBRs)
• Translate outcomes into measurable business value
