Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Cyber Engineer 4 to join a team of system engineers responsible for design, implementation, operations, maintenance, and cybersecurity for large, complex hardware and virtualized infrastructure.

This role performs Cybersecurity / Information Assurance for all customer managed systems, applications, and hardware, with a focus on risk-based defense across the environment. Active TS/SCI w/ Poly is required, along with DoD RMF and NIST 800-53 experience.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years with a Master’s in IT, risk management or cybersecurity.
• Requires 7+ years with a Bachelor’s in IT, risk management or cybersecurity.
• Experience with DoD security frameworks and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain DoD security tools (HBSS, Splunk, Defender for Endpoints).
• Support RMF authorization/reauthorization per NIST 800-53.
• Analyze security requirements and design enterprise solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate vulnerability results to technical and non-technical stakeholders according to risk.
