Job summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners seeks two experienced IT Systems Engineers III (Level 3 IT Support) for contract opportunities in Redmond, WA. These roles provide advanced technical support, systems administration, and infrastructure management onsite.

Candidates should have strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking, and cybersecurity. Travel up to 75% across the Redmond/Seattle area is required; on-site work is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive IT support or infrastructure engineering.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience providing Level 3 IT support and managing Windows-based infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Level 3 escalation point for complex hardware, software, networking, and infra issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, macOS, and Linux.
• Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and enterprise networks.
• Perform system maintenance, patching, security updates, and monitoring.
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.
