Job summary

3MD Inc. in Redmond, WA seeks a senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network, server, and virtualization environments supporting avionics test systems and business operations.

You will lead security hardening, patch management, and continuous monitoring while mentoring Level 1 and 2 IT staff, and guiding modernization projects from requirements through deployment and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive IT support/systems administration experience.
• Ability to administer, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network, server, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex hardware, software, network, and security issues.
• Own security hardening standards, patch management, and continuous system monitoring.
