Job summary

Control Devices, LLC is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to own and maintain our core IT infrastructure across multiple U.S. locations. You will oversee Windows Server/AD, VMware vSphere, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and SQL Server, ensuring security, availability, and performance.

You will mentor junior staff and serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for platform issues. The role requires strong scripting with PowerShell, networking fundamentals, and a demonstrated ability to operate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or related field.
5+ years in Windows Server/Active Directory environments with IT infrastructure ownership.
Experience with VMware vSphere, M365/Entra ID, Intune, and SQL Server administration.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain Windows Server/AD, DNS/DHCP, GPO, and certificate services.
Administer VMware vSphere and VM lifecycle, capacity planning, and snapshots.
Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint at platform level.
Oversee Intune/MDM policies, device enrollment, and compliance configurations.
Maintain network and security infrastructure; firewall rules, VPN, and vulnerability remediation.
Lead backup/DR procedures and ensure data protection across sites.
