Prime System Solutions is seeking a System and Network Administrator to oversee IT infrastructure across multiple client environments, spanning on‑premises and cloud setups. The role emphasizes hands‑on management of Microsoft 365, AD, Azure, and virtualization, with a strong focus on security and reliable remote access.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, firewalls from major vendors, and ticketing platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a System/Network Administrator with network and data center tech experience.
• 5+ years in a helpdesk or technical support role resolving issues via ticketing systems.
• Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, or VCP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless tech.
• Manage server environments on‑premises and in the cloud using Windows Server and virtualization.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365, AD, and Azure environments; manage cloud services.
• Configure firewalls and VPNs (Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, Fortinet) for secure access.
• Monitor security protocols, perform vulnerability scans, and manage patches.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans with clients.
• Provide Level 1–2 support; diagnose using remote management tools; document solutions.
• Administer VMware, and provide Azure cloud expertise for scalable infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams and use ConnectWise, Kaseya, ServiceNow for ticketing and reporting.
