Job summary

CLOUDIT is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide advanced technical support, mentor Tier 1 specialists, and handle complex escalations. The role covers core business apps, virtual environments (Microsoft, Parallels, VMware), and network issues, with a focus on Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and 365.

You will document configurations, contribute to system reviews, and support disaster recovery and security measures. Strong customer service and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years hands-on experience in a technical support or systems specialist role.
• CompTIA A+ or Microsoft fundamentals certifications (MS-900, AZ-900).
• One of the following associate-level certifications (AZ-801, AZ-104; CompTIA Network+; IT Glue Certified; SonicWALL SNSA; Fortinet FCA; Cisco CCST; VMware VCTA).
• Experience with virtualization technologies and remote access solutions (VPN, Terminal Services).
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues across workstations, servers, networks, and apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to Tier 1 Service Specialists.
• Assist with escalations by diagnosing complex issues and implementing solutions.
• Deliver technical support for core business apps, virtual environments (Microsoft, Parallels, VMware), and network issues.
• Implement and support Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Microsoft 365).
• Engineer and deploy system solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients about incident progress and outages.
• Document system configurations and troubleshooting steps.
• Conduct system reviews and provide performance/security improvements.
• Implement and support disaster recovery solutions and network security (firewalls, VPNs).
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and pursue relevant certifications.
