Job summary

LifePort in Woodland, WA, is hiring for an on-site IT Infrastructure role focused on defining, testing, and implementing system solutions. You will administer Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Hyper‑V, SQL Server, and related infrastructure while coordinating with vendors and development teams.

You will lead troubleshooting, develop automation with PowerShell and .NET, and ensure DFARS/NIST compliance. Strong teamwork, independent motivation, and senior escalation capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience within information technology.

Responsibilities

• Defines application problem by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes.
• Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
• Controls solution by establishing specifications; coordinating production with programmers.
• Validates results by testing programs.
• Ensures operation by training client personnel; providing support.
• Provides reference by writing documentation.
• Administration of complex applications and Infrastructure integration
• Implementation, support, and maintenance of application infrastructure
• Servers implementation including, licensing, printing, SQL, applications, Windows, and Firewall
• Understanding of vendors that provide support infrastructure solutions
• Understanding of licensing implementation and costs
