Job summary

LifePort in Woodland, WA seeks an on-site IT professional to implement computer system requirements by defining system problems and designing testing standards.

You will administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Hyper-V, Firewalls, and SQL Server, coordinate with vendors, write documentation, and provide training and support to staff.

Qualifications

Job Details: Job Location: Woodland , WA 98674, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 Salary, Located in Woodland, WA, LifePort is the leading manufacturer of medical transportation and interior products as well as ballistic armor protection systems for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Position Summary:

This on-site position implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems and designing and testing standards and solutions.

Essential Functions:

• Defines application problem by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes.
• Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
• Controls solution by establishing specifications; coordinating production with programmers.
• Validates results by testing programs.
• Ensures operation by training client personnel; providing support.
• Provides reference by writing documentation.
• Administration of complex applications and Infrastructure integration
• Implementation, support, and maintenance of application infrastructure
• Servers implementation including, licensing, printing, SQL, applications, Windows, and Firewall
• Understanding of vendors that provide support infrastructure solutions
• Understanding of licensing implementation and costs

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, storage, file services, IIS, Remote Desktop Services, and related infrastructure
• Administer enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, internet, and remote-site connectivity, including Cisco routing and switching, VLANs, and access controls
• Maintain system diagrams, configurations, operating procedures, and inventory records, and coordinate infrastructure work with vendors and service providers
• Telecommunications and VOIP
• Integrated Developer Environments (VS Code, Visual Studio, SSMS, Jupyter, Eclipse, Webstorm, Xcode)
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server instances and databases, including configuration, patching, security, backup and restore, integrity checks, maintenance, capacity planning, and performance tuning
• Develop and support T-SQL queries, views, stored procedures, functions, indexes, and SQL Server Agent jobs; resolve blocking, deadlocks, failed jobs, long-running queries, and connectivity issues
• Application Frameworks (ASP.NET, .NET Core, Django, Flask, Angular, Express, Ruby on Rails, Xamarin, React Native, etc.)
• Support ERP, manufacturing, engineering, and internally developed applications, including APIs, scheduled processes, database connections, and infrastructure dependencies
• Analyze system and workflow problems, document requirements, evaluate options, test changes, coordinate releases, and verify results with business owners
• Develop and maintain practical automation and application solutions using PowerShell, T-SQL, .NET, scripting, and web technologies
• Maintain infrastructure controls supporting DFARS, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC Level 2, and company security requirements, including endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, logging, access reviews, and audit evidence
• Serve as a senior escalation point and technical lead for incidents, upgrades, migrations, and assigned projects; coordinate vendors and share technical knowledge with other IT staff

Qualifications: Education, Certifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5 or more years of experience within information technology
