Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator to sustain a distributed infrastructure in a fast-paced mission environment. The role focuses on Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, SCCM, Exchange, PowerShell, VMware, VDI, and security tooling. The position requires TS/SCI clearance, U.S.

citizenship, and the ability to work on-site in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will collaborate with engineers and security professionals to maintain secure, reliable

Qualifications

• Must have at least 7 years of Windows administration experience.
• Must have at least 7 years of information security management experience.
• Must have at least 5 years with AD, DNS, GPOs, SCCM, Exchange administration.
• PowerShell proficiency and scripting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and enterprise IT architectures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor test infrastructure, applications, and processes to identify and resolve issues.
• Configure servers, routers, and firewalls; manage security scans and IAVA activities.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with partner teams across IT.
• Manage IAVAs, remediation actions, patches, and monthly security scans.
• Document systems and respond to user calls and emails promptly.
