Job summary

The Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) in Washington state seeks a Domain System Administrator to manage AD, Entra ID, and IAM across mission-critical systems with 24/7 support. You will lead a team of system admins, implement automation, and ensure secure identity services.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with WaTech and business partners, and drive engineering solutions across the enterprise while working in a hybrid environment in Tumwater, WA.

Qualifications

• Ten years of professional System Administration experience in a professional IT environment.
• Experience installing and supporting servers, applications, in an enterprise network environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and application issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP and GPO management.
• Provide technical direction and staff development for the NetOps team.
• Monitor and maintain IAM infrastructure including Entra ID and ADFS.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with WaTech and other teams to meet data governance and security requirements.
