State of Washington Dept. of Labor & Industries (L&I) seeks an IT System Administration - Senior/Specialist to manage enterprise AD, Entra ID, GPOs and IAM across mission-critical servers. This role leads complex projects and mentors junior staff in the NetOps unit.

The position supports a hybrid work model, emphasizes security, automation, and collaboration with Infrastructure, Security, and Architecture teams to meet data governance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of qualifying professional System Administration IT experience in an enterprise environment.
• Education may substitute for IT experience per policy (4 years for a bachelor’s degree, 2 years for an associate’s) in IT related fields.

Responsabilités

• Lead expert-level administration for enterprise AD/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and GPO management.
• Plan and implement IAM solutions and server operating systems with automation.
• Mentor NetOps staff and coordinate across Infrastructure, Security, and Architecture teams.
