Job summary
Washington State Department of Labor & Industries is seeking a Domain System Administrator within the IT Division's NetOps unit. You will lead expert-level administration of Enterprise Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP and IAM platforms, ensuring 24/7 availability of critical systems.
You will mentor junior staff, partner with WaTech and business teams, plan and implement IAM solutions, and drive automation through scripting while upholding security and data governance
Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of professional System Administration IT experience in a professional IT environment.
- Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP and GPO management.
- Strong scripting and automation experience.
- Ability to mentor staff and lead teams.
- Education may substitute for IT experience as noted in the posting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor NetOps system administrators.
- Maintain and troubleshoot AD/Entra ID and IAM infrastructure across the enterprise.
- Plan and implement IAM solutions for agency-wide systems.
- Collaborate with WaTech and L&I teams to meet data governance and security requirements.
- Provide expert-level administrative support for enterprise-wide systems.
