Job summary

Nuvative is seeking an IT Support Technician II to provide advanced technical support and systems administration across end-user computing and infrastructure. You will work with Technology teams to maintain reliable IT services, participate in projects, and improve operational processes while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, experience with Azure, Windows Server, AD, and 365, and a commitment to security best practices.

Qualifications

Associate degree in IT, CS or related field.
3+ years' IT experience with production systems and cloud infra.
Strong troubleshooting across endpoints, OS, apps, connectivity.
Knowledge of enterprise server, cloud, virtualization, directory, and remote access.
Familiarity with scripting for admin tasks.
Understanding of IT security and change-management processes.

Responsibilities

Serve as escalation resource for IT Support incidents and requests.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across endpoints and infrastructure.
Administer servers, cloud resources, VMs, and VDI resources.
Monitor system health, logs, and backup operations.
Perform routine provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
Document procedures and contribute to knowledge bases.
Mentor junior IT staff and assist during outages.
