Job summary

Moffatt & Nichol in Raleigh, NC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the IT Group. This role provides advanced computer support to employees across locations, handling software, hardware, and mobile device issues via email, trouble tickets, and phone.

The position may also train and mentor newer team members. Responsibilities include responding to requests, training peers, updating the WDS imaging server, maintaining documentation and inventory with OneNote, Excel, Lansweeper and AD, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or related IT certs preferred but not required.
5+ years of professional IT support experience.
Understanding of advanced IT concepts and functions.
Ability to work independently within established procedures.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Pre-employment background check required (NIST 800-171).
Employment contingent on legal ability to work in the U.S. and E-Verify.

Responsibilities

Respond to end user requests for computer support, including complex issues.
Provide training and mentoring for other IT staff.
Update and maintain WDS imaging server.
Maintain documentation and inventory using various software: OneNote, Excel, Lansweeper, Active Directory.
Assist the Network Operations Manager with tasks.
Facilitate onboarding and offboarding by creating accounts and terminations.
