Job summary

Neuwave Systems in Raleigh, NC is hiring an experienced IT Administrator / IT Support Specialist to manage day-to-day technology needs and keep operations secure and reliable. This hands-on role requires professional IT experience, formal training, and the ability to work independently in a small business environment, with on-site and remote support capabilities.

Responsibilities include supporting staff, troubleshooting issues, managing Microsoft 365, VPNs, and cybersecurity, plus onboarding

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional IT support or systems administration experience.
• Formal IT training and/or industry certifications.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, remote desktop and remote support tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, phone, and network issues.
• Configure and maintain computers, laptops, and office equipment.
• Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, permissions, and email systems.
• Support VPN access, remote desktop tools, and network connectivity.
• Assist with cybersecurity and endpoint protection.
• Handle employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and vendor relationships.
