Job summary

Centene is seeking a lead IT support professional to provide on-site and remote assistance for end users and site infrastructure in South Austin, TX. You will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, install updates, and manage imaging and data transfers to keep the network running smoothly.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience and a strong background in Windows, iOS, Mac OS, and networking, with excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED.
• Requires 4+ years of related experience; vocational or technical education may supplement.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tool.
• Proficient in Windows, iOS, Mac OS, and basic networking.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads hardware delivery and setup; customize systems for unique end user needs.
• Oversees the analysis, testing, and debugging of computer systems.
• Provide second level support for laptop/desktop break-fix and remote desktop support.
• Supports OS, applications, security, and hardware issue resolution for users (Android, iOS, Mac OS, Windows).
• Resolves issues with LAN and WAN networks.
• Meets with IT Infrastructure teams to set up and maintain environments and assist with local changes.
• Determines controls and procedures to protect information systems assets.
• Performs data transfer and manages imaging operations.
• Reports status, resource needs, and outcomes of service tickets to users and management.
• Provides end user training and education.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
