Job summary

Geotab Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide efficient, employee-facing IT support across Geotab offices and the remote workforce. You will resolve escalated incidents, configure complex hardware/software, and ensure local onsite coverage.

Qualifications

Strong customer-service orientation and ability to communicate clearly with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
Proven troubleshooting capability across Windows, macOS, Linux/Ubuntu, ChromeOS and mobile OS.

Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve intermediate to advanced IT support tickets while maintaining strict SLA compliance and professional, clear employee communication.
Act as the escalation point for the IT Support Analyst tier and unblocking complex desktop, application, and OS issues.
Perform advanced remote and onsite troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Linux/Ubuntu, and ChromeOS environments.
Manage user access, account lifecycle, software deployments, and system permissions following RBAC/IAM and security frameworks.
Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade workstations and peripherals.
Administer and troubleshoot core Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Drive, Groups, shared mailboxes, calendar routing, delegation).
Lead endpoint onboarding and offboarding procedures and asset provisioning.
Execute IT Asset Management tasks: packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory auditing.
Leverage GenAI assistants within Geotab’s AI Platform to accelerate diagnostics and documentation.
