Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking an IT Operations Support professional to maintain LAN desktops, servers, and VOIP systems. You will respond to tickets, troubleshoot, and coordinate with vendors to keep systems secure and reliable.

The role involves interfacing with all levels of staff and traveling up to 25% as needed. Associates degree or equivalent experience is expected, with 4-5 years in IT operations support, strong English communication, and solid hardware/networking

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4-5 years in IT operations support capacity.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and communication skills (English).
• Mature, flexible personality suitable for interfacing with all levels.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 7/10/11, Windows Server 2013-2019.
• Moderate cloud understanding; hardware and networking skills.
• Articulate issues, build consensus and define next steps.
• Team oriented, self-starter, customer focused and proactive.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel <25%.

Responsibilities

• Install, update, and support workstations, printers and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot computer and network problems and escalate when needed.
• Respond to IT tickets for multi-location users in a timely manner.
• Diagnose computer, network and communications issues and resolve them.
• Administer VOIP telephony and maintain IT assets inventory.
• Coordinate with vendor support and ensure secure, proper operation.
• Communicate clearly with users and management in English.
