Job summary

Dallas County seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to provide strategic analysis for business partners. You will bridge business strategy, processes, and technology, identifying risks and opportunities across end-to-end processes.

You will lead requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, and guide cross-functional teams through SDLC projects using both waterfall and agile practices. Strong communication and analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred; job-related experience accepted.
• Five years of related experience in business analysis or PM.
• Experience with SDLC, waterfall and/or agile methodologies.
• Experience in analytics, reporting and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and business partners to design programs and software.
• Lead requirements analysis, validation and documentation activities.
• Produce project analyses: BRD, scope matrix, use cases, UAT plans.
• Perform change impact analysis and document business rules.
• Elicit requirements via interviews, workshops, surveys and analyses.
• Prioritize requirements based on business value and feasibility.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage testing activities.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly across departments.
