Job summary

Dallas County is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to analyze and optimize county-wide business systems, processes, and technology, ensuring resources align with departmental needs and SDLC best practices.

You will document process maps and technical specs, coordinate with IT teams and vendors, and lead medium-scale projects from design through deployment, including reporting and analytics using tools like T-SQL, SSRS, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5 years of work-related experience in systems analysis or application support.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages medium-sized projects; creates and monitors project plans and sprint plans.
• Maps business processes to technical solutions and documents requirements.
• Evaluates system performance and provides recommendations to optimize efficiency.
• Tests software programs to ensure alignment with specifications and performs QA of deliverables.
• Designs and implements advanced custom business reports and dashboards.
• Provides technical support and acts as liaison to development teams for software design review.
