Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an IT Specialist Senior to support a large government client in Portsmouth, VA. The role involves hands-on repair, troubleshooting of laptops/desktops/outlook, and Windows Server experience. A DoD clearance or ability to obtain is required.

The position is a long-term contract (1 year with possible extension) with a competitive hourly pay and SCA fringe benefit. Strong communication and independent work are essential as you will plan, implement, and document IT

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support experience.
• Experience with Windows Server and desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with security concepts and DoD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on software and hardware repair.
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, peripherals, and Outlook issues.
• Coordinate and deliver IT solutions through SDLC processes.
• Interact with customers to understand business needs and translate into requirements.
