Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Deskside Support Technician (Tier II) to provide on-site IT support in Washington, DC. The role includes diagnosing hardware, software, and peripheral issues for end-users, including senior leadership, in a secure office environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience in a Windows-based setting, strong OS troubleshooting skills (BSOD), and proficiency with Windows 10, Outlook, Exchange, and enterprise ticketing tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support in a Windows-based office environment
• Troubleshooting OS crashes and stop errors beyond cloning
• Experience with Windows 10, Office apps, Exchange and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive deskside support for users via the service desk
• Perform hands-on break/fix for hardware and peripherals
• Install and configure specialized software not in automated tools
• Maintain printer devices and toner installation
• Disconnect hardware at security personnel direction
• Communicate technical info with stakeholders to resolve issues
• Prioritize tasks across multiple facilities with minimal supervision
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in tickets
