Job summary

Imprivata is seeking a Sr. IT Services Technician in our hybrid Waltham, MA office. You will deliver advanced support for Windows, MacOS, and Linux devices, mentor teammates, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, secure IT services.

The role emphasizes onboarding, knowledge management, and responsible use of AI tools to improve efficiency. You will work with modern enterprise tools (Microsoft 365, Intune, VMware) and contribute to incident resolution, SOPs, and proactive

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on technical support across PC, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, VMware, Azure Entra ID, Cisco VPN, and approved AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT).
Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and other MDM/UEM platforms for device lifecycle and deployment.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent credentials.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced end-user support across Windows, MacOS, Linux, and mobile devices.
Mentor IT team members and resolve escalated issues requiring deeper technical expertise.
Collaborate with systems, networking, security, and vendors to resolve challenges.
Document troubleshooting steps and create SOPs to support knowledge sharing.
Use AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting and validate outputs before sharing.
