Job summary

TopDog Law seeks a Senior IT Security System Administrator to own core IT security and reliability across a rapidly growing, remote‑first firm. You will manage Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, endpoints, identity, and SaaS security while enforcing policy and mitigating risk.

You’ll implement security controls, triage alerts, and participate in incident response and audits. The role involves collaboration with IT leadership and vendor partners in a fast-moving professional services environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT systems administration, security, operations, or a related role.
• Enterprise level experience administering Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.
• Security fundamentals: identity controls, patching, vulnerability management, and secure configuration practices.
• Disaster recovery and backups design, testing, and validation (RTO/RPO).
• Hands‑on experience with EDR, email security (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), DLP, or SIEM in an operational capacity.
• MDM/UEM across Mac and Windows (Jamf, Intune) for device enrollment and policy enforcement.
• SSO, MFA, and identity providers (Okta, Google Identity, Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Remote or distributed workforce support; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments; facilitate setup and migration to Microsoft 365.
• Manage Windows and Mac endpoints using MDM for enrollment, configuration, compliance, and patching policies.
• Administer SSO, MFA, and directory integrations; maintain identity provider configuration and authentication policy.
• Maintain security toolsets (EDR, DLP, email security, SIEM logs) for threat detection and policy enforcement.
• Provide tier 2/3 support for firm‑wide SaaS applications as needed.
• Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts across endpoints, email, identity, and cloud.
• Support compliance activities and audits; maintain evidence for security controls.
• Contribute to incident response: detection, containment, remediation, and post‑incident review.
• Assist with vulnerability management, patch cadence tracking, and endpoint hygiene reporting.
• Develop dashboards and reports for security metrics, compliance status, and operational health.
• Manage vendor relationships and SLAs; oversee security operations and DR/BCP planning.
