Job summary
Charles IT is seeking a Senior IT Project Engineer to join our Projects Team in delivering successful client outcomes by leading technical project work and serving as both hands-on engineer and escalation point.
You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to implement solutions aligned with project goals, including Hyper-V/ VMware migrations, Microsoft 365 platform updates, and full environment upgrades. Our team emphasizes growth, balance, and collaboration.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in IT project engineering or relevant field.
- Capable of leading client-facing technical projects and coordinating with vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute technical projects for clients from kickoff to post go-live support.
- Prepare and participate in kickoff meetings to align scope, timelines, and risks.
- Maintain documentation of systems, tools, and processes.
- Provide post go-live support to stabilize environments and optimize performance.
- Record time and expenses in ConnectWise; deliver weekly status updates.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to meet project objectives.
