Job summary

The Emmes Company, LLC is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager (NetSuite SME) for a remote, fixed-term engagement of about 18 months. You will lead complex NetSuite-driven IT projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• PM certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly preferred.
• 4-6 years IT project management experience, leading large or complex projects.
• 4-6 years Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• 4-6 years Experience with PM tools, methodologies, and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
• 4-6 years Track record of delivering IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, SDLC, and security/compliance is preferred.
• Ability to drive change and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of IT projects, aligning with business objectives.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, business units, vendors, and partners.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to PM methodologies, governance, and standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery.
• Mentor junior project managers and coordinators.
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, regulatory, and security requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in PM practices and processes.
