Job summary

Emmes Group is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager (NetSuite SME) to lead complex IT initiatives in a remote engagement for approximately 18 months.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget adherence, and mentoring junior project managers within a regulated environment. This position offers flexibility and exposure to leading-edge clinical IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross functional teams, including IT, business units, vendors, and external partners.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and maintain transparent communication.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, governance processes, and organizational standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery for project related activities.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers, coordinators, or team members.
• Conduct post project reviews, document lessons learned, and implement improvements for future projects.
• Ensure project deliverables comply with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and security policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management practices, tools, and processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned
