State of Michigan is seeking a Senior Project Manager (PM3) to support the Department of Corrections under the DTMB EPMO. The role requires onsite Mondays and Tuesdays with remote work the other days, in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in IT project management, strong stakeholder skills, and a PMP or similar certification. Local Michigan residency is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Project Manager.
• Experience with budgets > $20M.
• IT project management in a large enterprise.
• Vendor/third-party management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• PMP or similar certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead multiple complex IT projects for a state government context.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risks across vendors.
• Prepare presentations for executives and sponsors.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to state PM methodologies and Change control.
• Balance on-site and hybrid delivery with clear communications.
